Biography
Lilibeth “Lilly” Rosas Vargas was elected Representative of District 19 of Mayagüez and San Germán to the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, for the Popular Democratic Party (PPD), in the 2024 general elections.
He is the PPD spokesperson on the following chamber committees: the Cooperativism Committee, the Western Region Committee, and the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) Committee.
Born in Mayagüez, she is married to former District 19 Representative and former Judge Efraín De Jesús, and is the mother of Valeria Cristina and Armando Enrique. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Human Resources, and several professional certifications in Career Coaching and Conflict Mediation.
Lilly Rosas has an extensive career spanning more than 25 years in public service, serving in various roles within the Department of Labor and Human Resources (Right to Work Administration, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (PROSHA), Anti-Discrimination Unit) and the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (Workforce Development Program).
She is actively visiting communities and public and private entities in her district to address their needs.
