Health

The Health Commission shall have jurisdiction over all matters related to the implementation of public policy for all public and private services that impact health; the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and the preservation of health; medical, hospital, and outpatient services; research and vital statistics; physical, medical, and paramedical facilities and equipment; the administration, implementation, and management of any general modification to health systems, such as the government health plan; mental health; the regulation and supervision of the manufacture, distribution, and sale of medical products; health professionals; services that combat alcoholism and drug addiction; health in general; and any matter delegated to it by the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico or its President.
