The Youth Affairs Commission shall have jurisdiction over all matters related to public policy that facilitates youth entry into the employment market; vocational training; preferential attention to finding solutions to youth problems in their various facets; public and private institutions for the social care of minors; training, employment, and vocational rehabilitation of minors of the Department of Labor and Human Resources; the Juvenile Affairs Division of the Police; the Youth Development Program of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce; cultural programs for youth promoted by the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture; governmental and private institutions that understand the needs and concerns of youth; and any matter delegated to it by the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico or its Speaker.
