Biography

Félix Emanuel Pacheco Burgos was born on December 3, 1988. Son of Nancy Burgos and Félix Pacheco, he has five siblings and has lived in the municipality of Toa Alta for most of his life. He completed his primary and secondary education at the public schools Violanta Jiménez, José Pablo Morales, and Nicolás Sevilla. From an early age in his childhood, he developed a deep sense of helping the communities of his town, a drive that has guided him in his academic and professional performance.

At the age of 16, he entered the Ana G. Méndez University System, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Arts, with a concentration in Psychology. At 20 years old, he began his professional career as a law enforcement officer in the Puerto Rico Police Bureau. During his career in the Police Force, he obtained an Associate Degree in Police Sciences from the Puerto Rico College of Criminal Justice.

He served as Chief of Staff of the municipality of San Juan in the port area

During the emergency caused by the impact of Hurricane María in September 2017, one of his main duties was coordinating logistics matters related to supplies.

In line with his vocation to serve others, Pacheco Burgos developed the community support project for the Elderly at Hogar de Paz, a long-term care platform for senior adults in the municipality of Toa Alta.

On November 5, 2024, he was elected Representative for District Number 9, which includes the municipalities of Toa Alta and Bayamón. He was appointed to chair the Public Safety Commission of the House of Representatives.
